As my own children approached their Year 10 exams, it became clear they didn't really know what revision at home should look like. Like many students, they had been given advice in school, but turning that into something consistent and meaningful on their own was much harder.
After more than 20 years working in secondary education, I had seen the same pattern again and again. Students knew what they needed to revise, but struggled with when to do it, how often, and how to stay on track.
The students who achieved the best outcomes weren't always those working the longest hours, but those who built simple, consistent routines over time.
